Born and raised in North London, Mike has over two decades of experience in the hair industry, with a depth of knowledge that underpins everything we do at Stonehills.
Originally training as an art student, he quickly found his passion in hair – and hasn’t put his scissors down since. His career progressed rapidly, becoming Artistic Director at a leading salon group, where he oversaw eight salons and a team of over 80 stylists.
When founding Stonehills, Mike’s vision was to bring a more considered, modern approach to hairdressing beyond London – combining technical precision with individuality and style.
Known for his expertise in cutting and his ability to create clean, wearable shapes, Mike continues to work hands-on in the salon. He is also regularly called upon within the fashion space, contributing to contemporary, forward-thinking looks.
When he’s not behind the chair, Mike is always looking at ways to evolve the salon – creating a space that feels fresh, welcoming, and somewhere both guests and the team love being part of.
